On the 13th of December there is a NZ Secondary schools championship 3k road race which l am competing in.
l need some help devising a training plan as ones on the internet are only for 5k or higher
l already swim Tues, Fri, Sat.
l go to athletics club on wed and Harriers on Thurs.
l would like to/could run in the mornings.
Mon and Sunday are my rest Days

Well in the first .5 start out medium, not to fast.
The next .5 inhale through ur nose & exhale through ur mouth, keep ur stride nice & steady.
From the 1 mile to 1.3 mile keep what you've been doing up.
then the last 800m it is a whole new race.
A race for gold, a 800m dash.
Then sprint at the end.
Keep getting used to this & try it on race day & establish ur position.
