Ever since about 4-5 years back, l have had this really really itchy feeling around my head area, going down my neck on to my back and my chest.

l can literally time it to exactly 10 minutes in to my runs, and it can last anywhere between 2-5 minutes. It itches like crazy, but l have got used to it and just tell myself, ''it will pass in 5 minutes'' so l just crack on.

l would not really count myself as having dry skin, and l have tried various different soaps etc to no avail!

Like l said its something l just run through, but it would be nice to understand why it happens?

Sounds like anxiety, but it could also be a fungus. Try looking in a mirror and see if your skin is irritated or something.

Haha, l thought l was the only person who goes through that. l run track too, so when l run l do not get any style points running while scratching. lol. Of course, it does not take me 10min to do two laps.

l think it is the perspiration of the body, & the opening of our pores. When u run, u body temperature increase, & ur pores open. Because ur body needs oxygen, it takes in what may be dirty air & sweat.
In addition, l have mild allergies. So it may be the environment, not you.

Try not to run in front of crowds! lol
