Around three/four months ago after running my hip was sore. This injury has not gone away. It only hurts after l have run about three miles and it is a very mild pain. l usually run five times a week, but l took three weeks off to see if it would recover, but it hasn't.
l do not think it is serious but should l still go to the doctor or will it eventually go away?

Why not? Go see a Doctor. But try and find one who treats runners.

l HAVE THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM. AND l DON'T KNOW WHY BUT l KNEW IT WAS SERIOUS l JUST DIDN'T WANT TO SEE A DOCTOR OR DIDN'T HAVE TIME. but l run everyday as well & l finally got it checked out 3 days ago & it was horrible l just got an x-ray & said l need physical therapy. Change ur shoes & get it check out. Unlike u l did not have time to not run for 3 weeks. I've run 5 times a week everyday since August. AND l AM STILL RUNNING. Hope u get better!
p.s have u over run any hills.. that is l got mine.
